The upcoming 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be the first Apple slate to have a starting price higher than $499 USD. However, the rumor that claims this also provides another interesting piece of information regarding the storage space offered by Apple's new tablet.
While the existing iPad Air 2 starts at $499 USD, it only offers 16 GB of internal storage space. The iPad Pro is expected to start at $599 USD, but that price would also bring 32 GB of storage. Unfortunately, 9to5Mac also reveals that the basic iPad Pro has only WiFi connectivity. Variants with 4G LTE and up to 128 GB internal storage should also become available as well, but that remains to be seen.
Apple's iPad Pro is expected to show up next Monday. During this event, it seems that the iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro will not get any update. The new iPad, on the other hand, will offer an A9X processor and four stereo speakers, as well as a 12 MP main camera with 4K video recording capabilities.
