A handset that looks to be the Galaxy J2 (2016) has been imported to India for testing and might hit the market soon.
This year's iteration of the Samsung Galaxy J1 has just hit the Chinese market while the completely new Galaxy J3 has recently made its debut as well. The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) manuals have been spotted online, and it looks like these upcoming handsets will be the first budget smartphones from Samsung to feature a metallic frame. Earlier this week, a handset that is probably the upcoming Galaxy J2 has just been spotted online.
Unfortunately, there are no images coming with this rumor, since Samsung SM-J210 appears in a shipping manifest that does not reveal much. The units imported to India cost about $100 USD each and nothing has been confirmed for now. Industry insiders expect the Galaxy J2 to feature Samsung's AMOLED display technology and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop without any chances to upgrade to Marshmallow, just like the other J series handsets.
For now, we do not even know if the SM-J210 is the Galaxy J2 (2016) or another handset, but we will get back to it as soon as we hear more.
