Back then, the company did not announce the launch date, but now everything is finally official - LG G5 will launch globally on the last day of this month.
LG G5's most interesting feature is the ability to add specialized modules called Friends to further enhance its capabilities. Depending on the market, the retail bundle contains a Cam Plus camera module or an extra battery and battery charging dock. In the US, a micro USB adapter that allows LG G5 to work with older USB cables.
LG G5 will be available un-activated at Best Buy for $799 USD, and it looks like the Hi-Fi Plus audio module will get a 38% discount, but its price has not been revealed yet. We will get back to LG's flagship once it begins to reach major carriers in the US. Pre-orders on AT&T and Sprint have started earlier today, with others to follow soon.
