This 14-inch portable that was unveiled 9 months ago arrives with improved specs, but also retails for a higher price than previously announced.
Asus unveiled a 14-inch budget laptop dubbed EeeBook E403SA about 9 months ago and promised it would hit the US market in the second half of last year, starting at $299 USD. Unfortunately, that never happened, but the E403SA is now ready to go on sale. However, this new laptop retails as the Asus VivoBook E403SA and its price starts at $399 USD.
Asus VivoBook E403SA-US21 has been spotted on the Asus Store website and will also hit B&H. Its highlights include the following:
- Processor: Intel Pentium N3700
- Memory/Storage: 4 GB RAM; 128 GB eMMC internal storage
- Display: 14-inch full HD
- Camera: VGA webcam
- Connectivity: WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB Type-C, HDMI
- Operating system: Windows 10
- Weight/Dimensions: 3.3 pounds; 13.4X9.3X0.7 inches
- Battery/Autonomy: 57 Wh; up to 14 hours
- Colors: brushed aluminum metallic gray
This new portable has a fanless design and uses a full-size chiclet keyboard with a 10-million keystroke lifespan. Various models with less memory and storage space might join the E403SA-US21 soon, but none has been confirmed yet.
