Exynos 8890-powered Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge get TWRP support

The international variants of the Galaxy S7 lineup are now officially supported by TWRP.

Since the Exynos 8890-powered Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are not officially available in the US, those adventurous enough to get these handsets via eBay or other similar channels will not get local warranty, either. Fortunately, if they also want to mess with the firmware, it is good to know that both handsets just received official support from the Team Win Recovery Project.
For those new to it, we should add that TWRP is an open source software developed by only a few people, but also the leading custom recovery solution for devices running Google's Android mobile operating system. With the help of TWRP, those interested can easily create Nandroid backups of their handsets, remove bloatware, flash custom kernels and ROMs for various purposes and, if something goes wrong, they can just restore the backup firmware.
