Michael Kors is a company that has been delivering accessories, jewelry, footwear, and fragrances to both men and women since 1997. Now, the time has come for them to launch a new product that aims a very attractive market, namely the Michael Kors Access smartwatch.
The Android Wear-powered Michael Kors Access is compatible with both iOS and Android handsets and promises to deliver app notifications, smart help from Google, fitness tracking capabilities, social media updates, text/email alerts, as well as voice-activated Google services. According to Android Wear's VP of engineering David Singleton, Michael Kors can "move the wearables category forward with smart, beautiful watches that help you stay on top of your daily life while expressing your personal style."
The Access lineup is expected to hit the market this fall, starting at $395 USD. The Michael Kors smartwatches and accessories will be available via Michael Kors stores and MichaelKors.com, as well as select department and specialty stores.
