Multiple nighlty builds of CyanogenMod 13 have been unleashed so far, but now the team behind this popular custom ROM has finally revealed the first "M" build. According to the official product page, CM 13.0 Release 1 is based on Android 6.0.1 and brings the usual Marshmallow goodies, such as Google Now on Tap, Doze mode, the new permissions model, as well as support for fingerprint readers.
The CyanogenMod-exclusive features include a "protected apps" facility that allows a handset's user to hide various apps so other people using the device would fail to spot and use them. The C-Apps package is expected to show up soon, featuring support for some of the tools found in Cyanogen OS.
